Basil was born in September 1992 and "adopted" with his sister Sybil later that year.

He was a cool character but unfortunately he knew what he liked and where he liked to be.  A few years later when his parents moved house, he decided he did not want to go with them!

Despite trying everything - including the last resort of the new owners changing their mind and deciding to keep him - Basil was miserable and so stressed that he was not eating. 

Unfortunately there was no other choice left but to make the humane decision to visit the vet for one last time.

Although Basil was only with us for a few short years, of course he left his unique pawprints in our hearts.
