These pages contain some of my favourite word creations - poems and verse which are suitable for readings at funerals and memorial services, and/or for inclusion on your rememberance sheets. 

Some of these have been shared at funerals that I have attended, or services that I have been involved in organising.  Others I have come across at different times over the years.  Many of these will be well known and as there are many different adaptations, could be different to versions that you have seen or heard.

Where possible I have stated the author as accurately as I am able to, through my own research.  (No copyright infringement intended). 

The words pages are a constant work in progress - as I come across other poetry and verse that is suitable, it will be added.

Hopefully you will find some words here that will be appropriate for the service you are planning. 

Even if you don't use these words for the service, simply reading them may bring you comfort - which of course will also assist you in your healing process.
